Del: BioMed. Wants to specialise in synthetic DNA synthesis and assembly plus drug discovery then Doctoring.
It will be years before he actually earns anything unless he finds a cure for cancer.
When I finished uni a year or two back (ok, 1983 to be a bit more accurate), there was a story going about that a lad at Glasgow uni had pulled out the bottom drawer of chest of drawers in his digs, lined it, and filled it with porridge. He then lived entirely on slices of said porridge so that he could spend rest of his grant on booze. Only came to light when he became first case of scurvy in Glasgow for decades.

Re BioMed, at least that sounds like a route to a proper job, plus a docs salary should make him financially independent, well in a decade or two.

He doesn’t like LRs. He’s always lusting after a Lamborghini.
That said, I had a Jag a couple of years ago, he loved the growl of the exhausts.
