sunroof drain tubes

simple question before i start breaking things . do the n/s sunroof drain run behind the inside a pillar trim or the outside one ? thanks 2005 discovery 3 tdv6
1971 200 tdi 2 door range rover

300tdi defender 90 in bits needs lots of work

removed the interior trim and found the tube had been repaired before . i then removed the wing to get to the end of the pipe and pulled it back into the car . checked it for leaks and its ok also its not blocked so i refitted the the pipe back through the inner wing with plenty of silicone . the pollen filter is dry . any other places water gets in ? . whilst i have it in bits its only the passenger side .
