It is the quaint way the letter O any Y is used i.e. rego and tinny

I do have a dictionary from Aussie to English

Also to make our convict descendent feel less hurt the citizens of the USA do not actually speak English and Sinaporeans admit they speak Singenglish.

My command of the English language is not so good, I have been known to pm members on here asking what they mean by words or expressions, but 'safe english'?

Sorry about that leeds.... It was early and I think I was overtired after working all night. Have to admit Bradford is worse seeing as thats where I am from.

Hi Brendan,
I hope that your 110 didn't suffer too much, although you seemed to find quite a selection.

For ostrich, I guess that you mean emu. They are big, fast and not very bright. I wouldn't like to see one heading for my windscreen.

The wedge-tailed eagle (wedgy ) are quite large and don't really have any predators. This means that they don't keep an eye out when feeding on road kill. When they eventually recognise the danger, their take off is lumbering.
