Suspension
Hi
there seems to be quite a few posts re suspension problems. Does this mainly occur on older models as I was going to get something about a year old?
cheers

Not sure but someone who knows will be along soon...
I had problems under a year old with corrosion in sensor connector but all fixed by competent dealer under warranty with no hassle. Think the moral is use a dealer that knows what they are doing and are owner friendly.

The cars built late 2006 are Model Year 2007 which had all the reliability enhancements so should be more reliable.

I think you will find suspension problems are a thing of the past 8) Most of it was software problems that were sorted with updates. I have had mine from new with no problems
If you like it buy it You will never buy a trouble free car from anyone but at least Land Rover have a 3 year unlimited warranty Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it

Early models more likely to have suspension problems.....steady improvement since. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thanks all
I really really like the D3 so my heart says yes but the wallet says careful! Just was worried about it and the JD Power survey reviews.
Thanks

Check which JD power reviews you read, as many of them are referring to the first release. Recent surveys have put the D3 at the top of the pile Bodsys Brake Bible
JD Powers survey is not really worth reading these days.
A year or two back they changed the rules to allow inclusion of whether the owner liked the functionality or the vehicle rather than just maintenance issues.
This removed objectivity and made the results subjective instead. One mans funtional is another mans dysfunctional.Have a nice day!
