suspension

Over the past 6 months ive had an orange light come on twice, its the back of the car with arrows at the top.The last time it came on i got a message special programes had stopped working.I stopped the car and went to get my Fcr and noticed the o/s rear was further up than the rest. When i started the car again there was no fault so i carried on to work, did nt bother with the Fcr

Today i noticed the same again o/s rear sitting high again, i moved the suspension up and down to see if it would centralise it self.I mesured the gap ti was up 20mm. I rocked the car side to side and after a few minutes there was a hiss of air, and it went back to its normal hieght.

Ive plugged the Fcr in and no Faults. So ive worked the suspension up and down to see if i can get a fault, and i did it was taking forever to raise and i got a message in the center telling me that. Then another saying compressor was overheating.Still no faults on Fcr

Has anyone had the same problem or no what it is

Cheers Chris

Compressor will overheat after several cycles, sounds like a dodgy height sensor to me.
