Well, the dreaded message appeared this afternoon. While driving normally downtown I got the Suspension Fault message. Pulled over, switched off the engine, message gone. 5 minutes later it came back. Stopped the engine again, after 2-3 similar operations the message changed: System Fault: special programs not available. Re stopped and got a new message: Suspension Fault: max. speed 50km/h (30mph). After another restart it was Suspension vehicle raising slowly, then again System Fault, etc... Going to the dealer tomorrow but I'm rather hopeless after reading so many negative experiences...

Don't be negative adara. See what the dealer has to say first and let us know.

Thank you for the support Brian. I was hoping these "classic" issues were sorted in the year that passed...

Many are, it is the skill of the dealer often now.

There have been issues with the suspension ECU connector not seated correctly... may just be this.
Had this a week after I collected mine (Dec last year) and has never re-occured.
Ask them to check this.

Can't I just reseat that $#%@ ECU myself?
P.S. Went to pick my wife from the airport and guess what? No more error messages! All it took was a 1 hour break in the cold... But I must confess, I didn't dare touch the suspension or TR settings... Drove at high speed for a moment though...

It would be nice if that was the case or the answer

If you knew where it was then I guess you could re-plug and see what happens

Well lets face it, thats what the dealer will do! Then if that does not work, they will replace the plug behind the left front wheel arch with a hard wired connector, like they seem to be having to do on plenty of cars now.
Why LR can't do it on the line god only knows.

But Gareth... half the issues on the forum would go away

Well, I'm back from the dealer, they tested it for an hour, no errors, no recorded faults in the log, nothing! They were looking a little suspicious, asking if I'm familiar with the TR controls, etc...
