Suspension fault (again)
Yet another suspension fault, though a new one for me, "Suspension Fault - Normal Height Only". As it says on the tin, will not go down to access height or up to offroad height. Still has same fault after leaving car for couple of hours, initially fault occurred after a 1 hour journey so everything should heve been nicely thawed out as got above freezing.
Thoughts anyone???
No fault when started off at -10C this morning!

It's the 10th item on the fix list when it goes into the stealer in 2 weeks time. Not calling it names as D3s have ears!

Mine raised this fault only last week - turned out to be a loose wire in one of the junction boxes above the rear passenger-side chassis rail (the large ones behind the flap). If your compressor is functioning normally (ie self leveling etc), yours might be similar?

I've had this same error message since I came back from Heathrow yesterday (along with the recurring EPB electronics error )
I'm going to start off by cleaning out the compressor housing, for two reasons - firstly because it's been a bit noisy recently, and secondly because when it goes in to GS next week I don't want them claiming that the fault is because it's been used off road.

Mine has the same fault, self diagnosed it on here from helpful folk as either a faulty sensor or compressor. Took it to a LR specialist and they diagnosed it as a faulty suspension compressor. I order it on Tuesday as I am broke and will have to do the job myself and get the error code cleared, I opened the package up this morning at work. Will be changing it over on Saturday.
I got mine from LR Yeovil, Nick Lee was the sales manager. I got a good deal as he offers a Disco3 forum discount as is highly recommended on here. I think I brought his last one though!
Having said that, the compressor might not be the fault.

I had a similar problem in that mine said "Suspension will raise when cool". Strange as it had not been drived and it was -3C Had it looked at and it was the compressor. Car now raises but I still get an intermittent suspension fault yellow light - Bong - on - then off then on again. I guess that I have got a loose connector somewhere? Who knows - the car is actually fine now it has the new compressor. Suggestions welcome.2010 5.0 V8 HSE, Ipanema Sand

Paul, did you fit the new compressor, did you have the fault code removed? thats my only suggestion as i have been advised by LR, once i fit mine get the fault code removed as this may continue to ping up'.

I had an independent garage do the work. It did not ping straight away so I assume they reset the fault codes. I had reset all the codes by "hard booting" prior to taking it to the garage to see if that fixed the fault (i.e disconnecting battery and shorting the two leads (not battery!) for 10 seconds.). I will probably try spraying all the connectors with WD40 to see if that helps.2010 5.0 V8 HSE, Ipanema Sand
