Suspension Fault.. is there an Easy Fix ?

Hi all. I have just taken delivery of an HSE big step up from the base 5seater 8)

However on the way home from the dealers approx 90miles the OBC Displayed a fault in the suspension "Suspension - Fault - Normal Height Only. The terrain response system works fine however the display on the 4x4 Sat Nav screen shows the following fault (I have taken this pic from google to explain the falut)

The Drivers front, and Passenger Front & Rear all all displayed level, however the Drivers rear wheel seems to be displayed lower and the small white indiciator is flashing red, could it be a simple fix of disconnecting the sensor and cleaning it, or is this a Dealer Job Sad

New height sensor probably required.

Unplug the sensor and check for signs of water ingress/corrosion. Will look green inside the connectors. There are new sensors and connector kits available fron a dealer, not that expensive.

If there is no corrosion, i would suspect the sensor is faulty. If that doesnt fix it, there is a wiring issue, more often than not, at the rear of the N/S/F wheelarch

I recon its the wireing in the wheel arch, ive repaired quite a few in the past and even after simple sensor swap i always seem to resort to the connector problem.

I pesonaly do away totaly with the connector plugs then they cant come back and byte you in the future.

But as said a sensor is a easy start.

Thanks for the replies guys, unfortunatly the original problem changed to complete suspension failure, leaving the car locked in Access Height Mode and restricted to 30mph. It seems like an intermitent fault because after leaving the car for 10mins to shut down and re-start the suspension returned to normal height with no warning lights. The 4x4 info screen seems to be dispaying that the Drivers Side rear wheel cannot find it's setting which could point to a sensor fault which has been suggested here. Any how it's on the back of a truck and going to the Dealers to sort out, only picked the car up last Wednesday Neutral
