Suspension going extended!!

My 05 D3 has started to go to to extended height half way thru dropping to access when access has been selected. Seem to remember when the garage put it on the computer it read: "can't evacuate gallery" and lost "lost communication" or something to that effect. Also gives me suspension fault readout when first starting the car. Switch off and start again usually fixes it. Car drives fine and level at normal height. When going to access height it starts to go down and then goes to extended height. Can move car up and down after that but it seems to take alot longer. My garage have had it for a day and blew all the pipes out but still have prob. Garage says he's pretty sure compressor is at fault. Going in for 130,000k service today and garage will clean valve blocks. All he can do for the moment as there are no compressors in Aus!
