Suspension gone Bonkers!
Greetings folks.
I got a strange issue with the D3, after replacing front upper and lower control arms with RRS ones. wel.. I replaced everything in the front and rear, even the airbags and brand new sensors.
I got Suspension in extended mode, the rear end is pointing upwards too the moon and the front is low to the ground.
I snaged a picture from the faultmate after i deflated the bags that ill add in.
What in the world is goin on?

Have you had a 4 wheel alignment done following the suspension work?

Could be rear height sensors. You did do the measurements before tightening the suspension nuts up

Wouldn't new sensors require calibration?

I havent had alignment. The car is not driveable with the front lowered and the rear in the air.
No matter what I do, the car goes in extended mode with the front lowering and the rear up in the air.
I did not measure it before i did the nuts up. No air in the bags.
Using the faultmate to calibrate it i go suspension -> general -> heights.
I did try put measured values in mm, and i tried + and - 50 but it did not help.

Given what you’ve changed I’d be doing a height calibration, followed by a 4 wheel alignment and then repeat the height calibration for good measure

Jupp, thats what im trying to do, callibrate the damn thing seems impossible, no matter what i try it just goes in extended mode, and i cant figure out why. Im quite sure the height sensors are fitted correctly.

Might be worth getting off double checking, some of the manufacturer numbers are very close/ very similar to each other and very easy to mix up

Might be worthwhile putting the old sensors back on, if they work ok change them one at a time.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
