Suspension height - speed governor |
|
When the suspension is in the raised position, it will automatically lower once a speed of 50 kms is reached. This is a drawback when travelling in heavy sand as the vehicle can comfortably and safely travel at 60 - 70 kms an hour.
Anyone know whether Landrover are considering re-mapping this - rumours out here that the computer settings can be reconfigured, but I cant get Landrover South Africa to confirm?

It says in the handbook that the car goes into access mode automatically at 100mph in order to improve roadholding and stability. I'd like to get this activation speed lowered to about 70mph... It's supposed to lower by 20mm not to access height which is 50mm below normal. 100mph at access would make for a rough ride I suspect The End
