you may want to check the tank on the left side isn't leaking.

you can usually hear that though. Laughing listen 5 minutes after a drive

Tank is good. No leaks anywhere. Just finished pulling and rebuilding the front and reservoir valve blocks. Had purchased an O-Ring set from BPUtah. Pressurized but pump only runs for a few secs then cuts off....looking at air suspension diagram......mis connected the reservoir block.....so off I go to reconnect and engage......right after this Guinness break.......

[quote="Pete K"]is raises the rear first and then the front. so not front valve block problem.

......this is confusing because the rear goes up and down no problem.....the front is slow....what am I missing?????

Also.....found a lot of white powdery substance in the reservoir valve block connections.......tried snorting it but.....like my rover.......I didn't get high Razz

No good snorting, its the residue from the filter medium of the old pump unless the new pump has been assembled wrong

Checked air harness connections......all correct. Started vehicle and pump is running continuously now.....imagine it’s pressurizing the system. Just switched off....trying different settings now......still got raising slowly warning but that was after it ran for a while. Will let it cool.

update: removed front and reservoir valve blocks and reassembled them again, this time making sure the plastic bits which fit on the solenoid shafts actually lock together. The O-rings were changed the first go around. Made sure they were clean and not pinched. Went through and double checked all the air lines to ensure they were securely attached. No more suspension faults and no suspension vehicle raising slowly faults. Front is now raising as fast as the rear. Compressor is running much less now.

Sorry, didn't take any pics of the valve block repair but its pretty straight forward. Don't be shy. The whole exercise was quite satisfying, although it was quite frustrating to begin with. It became much easier once I understood how the air lines were connected via the Voss connectors. I have not touched the rear valve block.

O rings are interesting.....there was no noticeable damage or wear to the ones I replaced in the valve blocks and they were visually the same as the new ones.

no red blinky blinks on the off road 4x4 info screen either......

adaptive headlight error resolved with the new sensor connector......

did all this without the aid of a diagnostic tool.....but the air suspension description literature and lr3 electrical diagrams are invaluable as well as the online workshop manuals. So is the prior wisdom expressed on the forum.
