Is there a warning message on the dashboard at start-up, or just the orange light?

There was another thread on here somewhere that linked the C-1A28 code to needing the Steering Angle Sensor reset. I wonder if it is worth trying that?

Oh! and another relating it to corrosion on the switch. ...not that it is ever wet enough in Ardnamurchan to get corrosion! Rolling with laughter

I think these were the threads that I was recalling.

https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/suspension-...ight=c1a28
https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/discovery-3...ight=c1a28

From these it would seem that it might be worth ruling out the Steering Angle Sensor setting, before delving deeper into the switches. Do you have access to a GAP Tool?

Reset steering angle settings, no change, so I changed the height panel switches with one from a breaker, that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for help.
