Suspension switch

Hi All
I was wondering if you may be able to help. A week into D3 ownership and it's throwing a hissy fit already ! (the wife did say 'don't buy another LR after the Freelander experience we had !)

Have a 2007 TDV6 and the suspension was working perfectly fine. Raised the height to 'off road mode' in order to do an oil change (that'll teach me) and it now won't return to normal height using the switch.

The off road sign is illuminated but when pressing the switch down it doesn't illuminate or action at all.

When driving it returns to normal height. Checked the fuse and it hasn't blown.

No fault are showing up on screen at all

Is this likely to be a relay fault or module or other please in your experience ?
If it's the module are the part numbers interchangeable? (or do they have to match exactly ? would probably buy s/h)

It did rain a little briefly with the bonnet up so maybe water ingress may have affected something ??

Thanks in advance for any help

The the down button does nothing it’s the switch.

They are like a tv remote control and can be cleaned inside.

Thanks for the super fast reply Pete. Will give that a go. The car was cleaned thoroughly inside a few days ago, seats n all so maybe some fluid has got in there somehow.

Will give it a go at removing and cleaning

Cheers

Yes you do need the doors shut too. Have the consol out now. Just trying to figure out how to extract the circuit. Seems a bit fiddly and no info anywhere on how to do it

All sorted

All sorted now. Took it all apart and gave it a clean as suggested. Lots of dirt in there. Well, everywhere really.

It'll be easier next time now I know how to take the damn thing apart !

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated
