Suspension woes
Hi troops
Firstly I will apologise for another suspension thread.
The problem is such. Came back from NI to York about 3 weeks ago through the snow etc .. very wet.
Couple of days later set off for work and the suspension wouldnt settle came back home and the front right wasnt lifting.
Now JAS replaced the front and back valve blocks.. but an on going slow leak persisted.
I did a rest by removing the fuse and the front contibued to drop on the right side more so. I KNEW THE FRONT STRUTS need to be changed given their conditon they look to be original 2004/5.
So over the last 2 weeks I have removed the 3 bolts (Which needed to be dremeled off ( nightmare job). I have fitted a new strut... but still front right corner with the new strut is bottomed out.
The car lifts on all othe 3 corners very quickly .... but its all over the place I guess because the front right is on its .
The question next is ... is it the ride height sensor the issue (it too is original).
The bag isnt filling with air.. i am assuming that if the sensor is fecked then the bag wont know to fill.?
Id dont have a nano to test ..
Any advise greatly appreciated2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 2.7 S

Have you traced the nylon pipe from valve block to shock?

Just checked the black line from the block to the top of new strut .. not visual or touchy feely evidence of a leak or diconnect.
I am curious would a faulty corner height sensor stop a strut from inflating?
Cheers
