Swapping bulbs while they are on

Steve, you just sent me 7 packs of led's up to nr Beverley....thanks for the simple and quick service, very refreshing!

I do have a question though if you could help? I'm using them for my recently purchased 62 plate D4, have got round most of them successfully but the front puddle lamps seem to stay on forever, after I've turned all the others off from the switch above the rear view mirror.

So the question is is it ok to change them while lit, or do you know how I could switch those two off?

Many thanks.

Not a problem to change them while powered up - apart from maybe burning your fingers on the hot incandescent bulbs, the LED's should remain cool, it's only 12 volts so there's no danger of a shock.

It can be helpful as some of the LED lamps are polarity conscious and will only work one way round, makes it easy to plug in one way and then reverse it if it doesn't work.
