Swollen Nuts
Service report -'Most of wheel nuts swollen. Difficult to fit socket'
Now that's a new fault to me after 100 years of vehicle development!
Any known issues here? Car's done 51k @ 99% road. Don't think I should be paying for them.
Cheers
Neil
Just to cheer me up - also Anti-roll bar bushes, NSR top wishbone and a drivers door lock to fund!Still enjoying the expense!

Some peeps have reported distorted wheel nuts ( caused by tyre fitters air gunning them tight ), not heard of them being 'swollen' though, unless beneath that shiny exterior they are all quietly corroding away . Welcome to the site NTH.

Unless they have change the nut runners the factory use to do them up only work on the flats of the hexagon not as most DIY sockets on the corners, The factory tools could have distorted the shape of the stainless cap, or so could the dealers if they are using a similar tool. - either way it's there fault.

I have swollen nuts
it is becoming increasingly difficult to get the socket on and when it is on my nuts dont want to come out.
The Large one helped me out and sent me 4 new nuts to replace the locking nuts (which had cracked)
I guess the only solution is to replace my nuts with newer onesDuncan

Now that's one thing I never thought I'd have to worry about I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
