Taboo Towbar post removed
So I went to let the good brethren know that ordering replacement keys is an easy process that will save them a tenner should like me they lose there keys only to find that the post has been removed! Any particular reason Mods? Surely the aim is to share awareness regarding any particular security weaknesses and to save members a bit of money by replacing keys, rather than locks?

Well to state the blindingly obvious you may want to save £10 but many site users don't want to lose their £100 + towbar because we are suddenly promoting a key cutting service.
The thread is being reviewed and will be returned if admin approve 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Dry my eyes? No need, I am not bleating about it being removed, just wondering why it was and DG had attempted to explain his rationale for doing so. I think that rationale is weak, but I respect his decision as he is a site moderator on a forum which I am a member. Net result is I can now remove my towbar again once the keys arrive.

With respect you knew that you were on delicate ground in relation to this subject from the very title of your original thread. You may feel the rationale is weak however an overwhelming majority of site users have previously indicated that issues which can compromise security should not to be promoted on the site.
I haven't passed a judgement but have referred the thread to the rest of the admin team.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Absolutely and as I said I respect your decision. I don't have to agree with it though.
