Tailgate not locking.
I was parking the disco 4 today and pressed the lock button twice on the key fob the doors locked but i noticed the tailgate was still unlocked. After many attempts it did eventually lock. I tried to lock it again when I got home,after much playing around it again locked.When you look in the owners manual it tells you to make sure hand brake is on if you single lock it. Can anybody tell me how they lock or unlock their disco in case I am doing something wrong ie using the key fob when I should be using keyless entry or pressing lock button once instead of twice. Thanks.

How are you checking that the tailgate is unlocked - are you leaving your keyfob a good distance away and going back to check by pressing the tailgate button?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Yes just went and locked it and kept fob a distance away the tailgate was locked. I must have been standing to close to vehicle with the fob when the wife was checking it. Thankyou very much that will save me a trip to land rover.
