I have just paid
D4 Wheel inc switch packs and heat board £260
Heated clock spring £109
BBS conversion D3 to D4 boards £156 inc postage (£25 ) from Cyprus
Power lead £4
Total £529........Not a cheap mod by any stretch of the imagination (But hopefully worth it )The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

How does 100% worth it sound?
After I fitted mine, I tried to spec my new Lexus with heated steering wheel, .. they didn't do it in the uk market
But it makes my old D3 that much better in the winter than my Lexus ..... You won't be disappointed Mark

I always plastic tie the clockspring so it doesn't move and can be put straight onto the SW.
As for the SW itself, it has a punch mark that should be up the 12 o'clock position.
I found the retro fitted heated wheels less warm than the ones that came with it from the factory. The one I have at the moment on the DS is a factory fit and you fry eggs on it.

pardon me while I dredge up this post, but I'm in search of these connectors to make my own plug-n-play harness since the one for sale here is not currently available. I'm in the states and struggling to find them. Any info is appreciated! thanks!

I got my heated LR4 wheel installed in my LR3 last night. It works great, but the LEDs aren't working as I expected. Should the LED turn red when you activate it like it does on a LR4? Mine doesn't. Though it does light up green along with the other buttons when the headlights are on. Is this expected?

note - I'm hunting down an electrical gremlin that disables cruise control which could be related. this was happening with the old wheel, too, so I assume it's the same gremlin. That's detailed in another forum thread: https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr3-28/p...post851752
