TDV6 injectors

Hi!

Have a D4, 2.7l TDV6 from 2010 with 170t km (105t mls).
The engine runs well, but you can hear it nail when idling. The typical diesel nailing.
But too loud for this engine for my taste.

Should the injectors be worn out after this running time?

I would then like to swap all six at once, where can I get them cheaply?
Are there any repaired in exchange?

Regards,
Thomas

Unlikely they're worn after such small mileage. If you have diagnostic tool post the trim balance levels for all six injectors, and any fault codes for the ECM.

Okay - this weekend the engine sound better IMHO.
Have checked values with IID an have made a little video (how can I upload the video here)?

ECU have two faults - Network error I think.

Hi

Hope u don’t mind me mentioning but ur battery needs a good overnight charge , should be around 12.6 Vdc with the engine off , 14.6 Vdc running . U codes can normally be ignored and cleared

Prof g will be able to guide u considerably better than myself with regards to the injectors

Hope that helps a little

Injectors are fine, clear the codes and give her a good hard run and read the codes again.

Sounds OK to me so just enjoy it, when something is wrong she won't be long about telling you. Thumbs Up

The U-Codes are comming again - I have alreday cleared it repeated.

Most is lost comm wirth transmission control modul or parking assist control modul.

In the near future I will check the contacts of the connectors on the ECU and the other modules.

Thanks for the Information about the injectors. Thumbs Up

Check the contacts at the TCM (water ingress) and possibly the mechatronic plug on the transmission for corrosion. Thumbs Up

Battery is worn I think. What Type should I use?
Often read Exide 95Ah AGM. But don't know if our D4 can load it correctly (AGM needs 14.8V I remeber).
He has a BMS and there is installed a "wet" Type 100 Ah 870 cca.

With Batterytype:
