Teach me about the 2015 (15 plate) engine.
Having sold my D3 I am looking at a 15 plate HSE tomorrow, in the best colour combination (to me anyway) .
What engine should be in it for that year?

Might be a bit early for AdBlue. No idea re engine apart from 3.0, ie what HP etc.

I would assume a 3.0 SDV6 around 255bhp as standard and prob 8 speed box. Im guessing prob euro 5 but poss euro 6 if your lucky although that would require both stop/start and adblue as far as im aware D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
D3 HSE MY06 missing her still…
An AddBlue, 8 speed, stop/start EU6 will be more expensive, but check the residuals.
The stop/start is easily disabled.

wasnt it 2014 the 2nd facelift came in ?
so a 2015 will be 3.0 SDV6 255bhp, with 8 speed ZF auto and meridian sound system and stop/start. but depending on when in that year it was made if its got the incontrol touch screen ?

All the 3.0l engines are the same, the later MY12 onwards have about 10hp more. You can check the site for issues as any age will suffer with the same common problems.
The newer ones had some exhaust differences with DPF, DEF etc and stop start added.

Try and get a Euro6 it will be worth more in the long term, especially for town dwellers.
Apparently very few 15 plate are E6, 65 plate on all are E6.
