It would be - I've got iceLink kits in the Defender and the MINI. However the D3 head unit doesn't support a traditional CD changer and so it can't be replaced with this kit 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Is there no CD changer connector on the back of the unit then ?
I thought I'd seen one of these in some ones D3 at a meet ?

Errr - probably because I forgot you can get versions that use an FM transmitter version or plug into the AUX input
The 'CD changer' connection is the MOS fibre-optic link. There has been a fibre-optic iceLink on the cards for about 12 months now 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
