Hi
Now I have my radio/ cd player and microphone all working (Karmen) D3 original I cannot connect my phone ,is there a separate unit/telephone receiver which is linked to the karmen system that's not working or has been removed.
Any advice as always would be appreciated

Bluetooth was an option and not always fitted

A ha that's the answer then I have not installed one I just assumed it was already installed as there is the option to make calls on the unit (see attached picture)

Forgot to add where would I find it if fitted or could it be fitted anywhere on the Ď3

IF it was factory fitted you would have red and green phone buttons on the right side of the steering wheel.

In 2005 it was an option.
It would be fitted in the rear right of the boot.

The best thing to do is install a D4 bluetooth unit as

1) It's much better (phone address book etc)
2) It's way way easier. Just 2 wires and an optical connector.

i think you need a GAP IID to tell the car is has a phone fitted
