Telephone prewiring

Hi all,

I’m new to the forum and wondering if I could ask for some help - i’ve recently bought my first Land Rover (2007 Discovery 3TDV6 2.7l) and noticed this prewiring - presumably for a phone cradle - does anyone know anything about this? Ideally i would like to buy a cradle and attach it, I just don’t know if it’s that easy in reality!

Thanks in advance 😊

Hi Landymom and welcome to the forum.

It might be useful if you have a photo of the wiring and where it is situated and then the knowledgeable people on here may be able to give some advice Very Happy

If you have cradle connector you should have Bluetooth

While in car search on your phones Bluetooth for land rover .. if it finds it pair with 2121 Thumbs Up

Wiggs you are an absolute hero, found the Bluetooth (Nokia CK-7W), connected my phone and it works like a dream - thank you so much! If you ever pass Farnham in Wiltshire be sure to let me know and I’ll buy you a drink 👍

That’s an aftermarket kit, not the one that shipped from the factory (also Nokia but very different) nor the dealer installed Bluetooth (Ford audio) one.

Here’s the manual in case you need it http://nds2.webapps.microsoft.com/files/su..._en-US.pdf
