Terra Firma kit

I'm looking to get some protection for my Disco 4 for green landing, and my local LR/4x4 place has recommended Terra Firma underbody guards and tree and rock sliders. They seem very competitively priced; I was wondering if anyone has experience of these products?

I've no experience of their underbody kit but have a look at forum sponsor Prospeeds setup. I think there are a few pictures in my gallery.

Also worth considering Ray (RLD on this forum) for one of these:

I believe that the ProSpeed tree and rock sliders are vey good, but they are quite a bit more expensive than the Terra Firma ones, so I'm trying to find out if its worth paying the extra.

There is an old saying about you get what you pay for.

I have had product from RLD & it is very well made & very good value.
I have heard good things about Prospeed.

As far as Terra Firma stuff goes, there is a place for it in the market , but it's not for me. I have used them before but not fir many years.

Prospeed stuff is expensive but quite a few of us keep going back to them because the quality is excellent and their customer support is just outstanding.

As above.

I find myself digging deep into my pockets to get ProSpeed stuff over other brands because they really are excellent at support and make truly quality products.

RLD is just as good too, the only other company I'd trust aren't in business any more but be careful there are some really substandard products out there.

Chap I know on an off road weekend 2 weeks ago managed to bend a "Tree Slider" by just clipping a rock at very low speed.

I have the terra firma transmission and steering guard for the D3. I have no grumbles It has taken a bit of a battering. They bolt together to give one continuous line of protection. Cant speak for the tree and rock sliders though.

My only concern when I bought them, but not been proven since is the fact there are no holes for the air to get to the IC. This hasn't seemed to affect performance.

Are those that shall not be named still trading? I have one of their sump guards and it is very good. I was thinking about getting some tree sliders from them put can't seem to find a website.

+1 for Prospeed, have the new sliders on mine. Well worth paying the extra for piece of mind. Gave them a proper work out last weekend with no issues.
