True, true! We (not CW) have a quest, figure out who is next best policy. If it's £900 x2 for me in April, may self insure. At least both turbos have been done!

Well CW, I guess you can keep your fingers crosssed and wait for the postman or maybe bite the bullet and take out a new annual policy commencing today. They must have been watching the forum, they just called. I can't start from end of December . They said although I had 2 policies running together I could carry on and it would effectively give me 9 months of cover for £419 (expires 30/9/2010). I decided to go for this as the nearest price is a lot more, so it's basically cost me £519 for the policy rather than £419, but still £400 less than nearest rival with same cover.
It sounds like it was not making money.

I'm definately boycotting Tesco, but will start once I've finished my Tesco Finest Golden Sheep Ale, bought rest of my Tunisia shopping and got Euros (all at Tesco Extra Inverness) and filled up SWMBO's car at Tesco filling station (with 5p off)!!! I'll start in one week and it will last 3 weeks, good job no Tesco in France or Tunisia to tempt me!
SWMBO says No to participation in my boycott!!! As long as she keeps off the Black Sheep!!!

You should be OK, but I was told they had to start by today or it would be cancelled

Apart from the problem of us not being able to renew our warranties, my concern now is that dealers may be problematic about handling repair work covered under the warranty.Clubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. Have U had a "Welcome Letter" as this signifies your car has been accepted for cover, according to T&C.

They have a legal obligation to honour existing policies, Tesco will not risk their name being dragged through the press over this, so all should be well, worst case is that you pay the dealer and reclaim, but you should be reimbursed.

There is no problem over them paying, it is still the same company who do Land Rover warranties and the account numbers for dealer invoicing are identical.
I suspect you may see the plan being marketed elsewhere for more money soon, Tesco was only a selling tool for Car Care Plan.
