Still ongoing with PX6 version and delays with supplier due to further testing shipment from factory. Hoping to be shipped later this week. Better to have a well tested unit before shipment.
Timing not bad as having to rebuild rear driver side axle due to seized draft shaft and wheel bearing failure next weekend.

Hi, yeah had some delays due to changing screen to a higher resolution, but have given them a final delivery date of Friday this week or I want refund and will try alternative supplier who gets good reviews.

Hasn’t been any rush as my D4 intake manifold cracked just after wheel bearing front and rear one going, and is still in garage getting repaired. Hoping to collect sometime this week before the Tesla unit arrives.RLD CB Bracket

The main of these screens Android screens come from China and not really available direct from UK/EU suppliers for the Land Rover ones. I’ve done a good look around on Alibaba/AliExpress and also looked at number of forums/YouTube to work out any suppliers of Tesla style units. One of the main ones is in US who import a lot from China called Phoenix Automotive (I think), but again not seen listings for LR.
They are still fairly in there infancy and in some ways not as advanced on interface design as other units from Pioneer and such. From what I’ve read they have moved on a lot on the past few years and in reliability as well, mainly on the software side.
We’ll see once I get it and give you all a good run down on quality, installation etc although I believe they now have an install video they created in the past few weeks.

If you want to have a look on AliExpress, search for Land Rover Discovery 4 Tesla and it will bring up loads of options with differing Android CPU/OS varieties / PX3 is slowest option and PX6 is latest (just out and evening in development with some suppliers)RLD CB Bracket

After the recent iOS 14 update, CarPlay now supports portrait mode, it suits the Tesla style screen and you can change the wallpaper.

Exciting times, you will probably get an email from DHL asking you to pay the import duty, it will be worth it.It’s just like getting into a new car.My installation project gave me a huge lift during those dark days of lockdown.

Import Duty payment just came through with delivery on Thursday, so looks like a weekend project is on the books.

Having read this thread and liking the idea of a Tesla styled info screen with all the added functionality it provides, I went and scoured the interweb for a look on prices and hardware for one of these.
Now initially being a bit shy of spending £826 on a fancy radio and then ultimately having to explain this expenditure to the other half as being a necessary & quantifiable upgrade......[given that even I am struggling to believe my own reasoning/excuses], I was wondering if the price I have managed to achieve is a good price and wether I should trust some overseas Chinese distributor to send me this at all?
Though being on E-bay and using Pay-Pal I feel slightly more secure in a possible purchase.
This unit has the 6 core processor and 4GB RAM with 64GB Memory. I believe it is 1820x800 HD screen.
It is unbranded and supplied by carxtruck on Ebay. I negotiated the price that can be seen top right in the basket.......down £226 from £826 inc. delivery.
