| Things that go Bang in the day......... |

Was just driving along a few minutes ago when a loud "crack" made me jump!!!
Checking just now it seems that that the upper speaker on the offside rear door no longer functions.`Obviously volume setting 10 is too much for it......... 
Is it easy to change thespeaker for an incompetent? Whose are they? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Ah, yes, was just thinking about the keys when I drove past the end of your road........shortly after the bang.
No idea actually, but no warning lights, nothing visual in or out, no funny leaks and I can't hear any noise from that speaker so kind of made an assumption...............obviously it could have been something far more serious. It did make some horrible noises at the end of last week but they came from underneath definitely.
the noise was definitely in the car and behind me.
Maybe it is just generally disintegrating  end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

...one of the the local radio stations, Heart or Wave or something or maybe it was Isle of Wight Radio............on quiet 
wouldn't have happened if it was on Radio 4 as it usually is:whistle: end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

thats nothing....
I picked my car up from having a new Steering Wheel Angle sensor yesterday and everything seem ok....... untill...... I stopped in traffic. every time i pulled away, just as the power started to turn the wheels, there was a load metallic bang,. The same happended when i stopped. 
Strange I thought, then I thought oh  , more cost... what could it be ??
For the speaker though ----- I' have the instructions somewhere, i'll try and find them 
Then i realised ...... it was can of coke rolling around in the centre cubby cool box. Phew, what a relief. My relief over came my embarrasment of being a paronoid numpty !! Duncan
