Think my Stormers might be rubbing

Just noticed a couple of times when turning right at speed over i sometimes get a rubbing sound but sounds more like wheel rubbing on brake disc or something like that. Comes from left hand side of car. I have inspected inside of tyres but cant see any signs of rubbing. Anyone on Stormers with 295's have any similar experiences to report.

Cheers

Nope, not me absolutely no rubbing .... even with these new tall/fat tyres!!

I'd jack it up and have a good look at the inside wheel rim/edge if I were you.
Also have a rumage on the track rod ends & wheel bearings.

Nearly 2 years in with Stormers & 295's and no probs from day 1 (obviously famous last words), i just wish they would wear out a bit quicker & then i could get a set of Coopers like Ron

Googsy,

I was just about to post this issue myself
Have noticed today a Rubbing/Rattle sound when turning right. Only noticed it as I had the window open
Sounds almost as though something is loose Shocked

Im only running on 17" standard wheels so not sure if its the same issue as yours

Anyone got any ideas? Thumbs Up

Bearing cost is around £108 + vat & 1 hours labour.

Right chaps update for you. turned out it was the heat shield over one of the discs that was causing the noise wheel when cornering. So all that was needed was to bend it back slightly and presto sorted. Just might be useful for anyone else getting noise when cornering. I love my Stormers 8) Thumbs Up
