Sorted out the seatbelt, the lap part was left twisted after the supplying dealer fitted a replacement ( and that was their second attempt).
Removed and refitted the rear number plate which was only half stuck on and also not level (again courtesy of the supplying dealer)
They looked at my wheels as I was not happy with the overall finish of the silver as it was patchy in areas.
Warranty man and service manager confered and new set of wheels have been ordered.
Asked about the enhancement program, they looked it up on the system and my car is only due software, held off on this as did have new software about 7 weeks ago.
So
So far so good with Sturgess, speaking to a salesman told him to have a look on here and the dark side as it would benefit them and us to build a good relationship so Hi to Michael if he is reading this.
A big difference to my dealings with a certain dealership in Nottingham.Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Good to hear what you have to say. I've had no end of problems with a certain other dealership in Leicestershire. Sturgess were my next choice to do the next service, TSB & warrenty work so your words are encouragingRichard

No, I haven't had my D3 into any dealers yet. Just trying to establish the lay of the land as it were. You aren't the first person I know who has had problems with that particular dealership.

The words 'technically' & 'inept' seemed to feature quite a bit in my last conversation with them about a warranty issue we had.
Finally got it fixed so I won't moan any more.
Looks like Sturgess from now on...Richard

Hey they arent any where near J1 of the M69 are they?2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver
Sturgess continue to impress, they just get on with whatever you ask them to look at.
Enhancement (software only on mine) was done without even asking for it.
The D3 is booked in again in a week or so for them to sort out the geometry and the tyres.
Special thank to Siobhan on the service desk, very helpfull and unlike my previous dealer talks to you like you do actually know about the car and were not born yesterday!Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Their fix on my faulty passenger door lasted exactly two days. They have had it back again, and say they need to order in some more parts - would take no more than 3-4 days. I rang back today (4 days later), and they still don't have the parts. They said they would call LR again and ring me back - I'm still waiting for the call. Hey ho.

Si I think that LR are a bit slow with parts at the moment. They thought that my new wheels would take about three days to get ended up about 3 weeks. I know that Sturgess ordered them on the day that I had been there as the parts dept guy who I spoke to read it all from his screen with no prompts.
Calls not returned are annoying though.Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Well it's 10/10 from my point of view.
Been in for a somewhat embarrassing list of 10 faults + VEP. All known issues such as seats, rear brakes, parcel shelf etc etc. Took 3 days & all rectified involving the supply of many new bits & peices.
Sl squeak on drivers seat only but can live with that for now -car feels great without the awlful flat spot, but I can't help feeling it's how it should have been all along. Ah well, water under the bridge & all that....
