Cutting off 40% of crude to Grangemouth and this is going to be til after NY. I remember well the chaos when Grangemouth went on strike. Being at the end of a 140 mile tanker drive I can imagine those will be chopped in preference to nice & close Central Belt.
Have I panic bought? I'd describe it as a bit more of a pre-emptive/pre-panic/pre signs saying "Sorry, no diesel" investment.

When the fuel protests were full on we had the XJ6 parked on the driveway, acting as a fuel bowser for my wife's 1.25 Fiesta.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

She can keep her paws off it. It's mine I tell ya, all mine!!!
I remember being in Inverness during the strike and that muppet that is Wee Eck was telling everybody that everything was well as 85% of stations had some sort of fuel. And that helps how if you need diesel and only super unleaded is left?
