That was price of full service inc all belts plus std service work & items.
Did shop around though and used Yeovil LR's quote to bargain with.
Got it done at Stratstones in Stockton as they gave best quote, but my normal dealer is Ripon Land Rover.
They no longer need to take the body off or engine out to do this service as some new tooling had been devised.
I'ts always wise to check if they've done one before [which they did in my case], wouldn't want them practising on mine!!!
Other item I had done was replacing a faulty rear door mechanism [I paid for as it was out of warranty] I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Hi lads
can someone confirm 100 % it is 7 years as local 4x4 specialist insist on changing it since my D3 is turning 5 in a couple of month ?
I happened to read 5 years and 7 also, here and on some other sites

105,000 miles or 7 years.
Timing belt book time is 3.3 hours, aux belt has to be removed, so no extra labour involved.
HP pump belt book time is 0.9 hours upto end of 6A, and 1.2 hours for 7A on.
