Timing Belt Interval

Hi Guys , anyone had they're timing belt / pump belts changed and how much ?

Just bought my Disco3 and dealer serviced it as it was due (93000 miles) but should they have replaced the belts as they are recommended at 100,000 miles ?

I have had the job done. It is to be done on the 105000 service. I got quotes from all over the country on this, and the variation was enourmous. The cheapest was Yeovil Land Rover, the most expensive was £900 (I wont name as I am sure it was a mistake).

You are in the Southwest, so give Yeovil a call.

Was that just the timing belt cus ive heard its engine out job if doing the pump belt aswell ?

No its not engine out or body off. Mine was in the dealer for a day, and that included all the normal service items too.

I got the job done in Stockport for £600, Yeovil will be cheaper I am sure but its a long way from me. TheLargeOne is the chap to ask for a quote. He is at YLR and is very helpful to the site.
