Tip on how to clean your Smart Key...
I've found the best way is to leave it in a pair of jeans,put it in the washing machine at 30c and wash for 90 minutes,followed by a spin at 1400 rpm.
It works best when washed with dark colours,but I'll report back next time on the results when included in a whites wash
A little note of caution:you may find you need to leave it in a bowl of uncooked rice for 4 days just to help the drying process

Ok,well it opens the doors,and starts the engine......I haven't yet taken the car for a run,but all the signs are that it appears to be working as normal.....

If it doesn't work tomorrow it will be a wash-out.
And if it does work, at least the dealer won't take you to the cleaners.
