I have one on mine which I fitted myself. Had one on my D2 and it did OK in the bush. I put COOPER STT's on for the Cape York trip. They are 245/70 17" on 8" steel rims which are about 25mm larger in diameter than the ATR's which are 235/70. I found that at standard ride height they contact the bar if I hit a dip. I also cannot go to access height as there is interference. I rang TJM and they said there are a number of there bars fitted to D3's and they have had no complaints. That's why I'm asking. As there are limited tyres for 17" rims I went with the STT's because of the extra sidewall strength and their minimum size is 245/70. I've taken to the bar with the angle grinder and now all is OK. Looking at the ARB bar, their bar where it wraps around the side follows the profile of the mudguard flare, the TJM drops down vertically. The first pic is with the STT's the second after the grinder with the ATR's. And there are other problems.

Garry you could do some cutting of the bar and some restrengthning
Or buy a ARB bar which has plenty of room But the cost given you have already purchased the existing bar
Cheers

I have the ARB bar which looks good, aside from stone chips and my off line cutting of the side moulding when fitting.

The ARB one doesn't have the extra bit at the bottom of the bar, lots more clearance. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thanks for the calculator, the 25mm was a quote from TJM.
I also put a plate over the air suspension cable which was at the lowest part of the bullbar and exposed. It would have been destroyed on the Cape trip. I also had suspension errors because in rerouting the airlines through the bar that put upward pressure on the valve block which jumped off its mounting plate and was sitting on the bottom of the bar in the grit, it wore through a wire and caused it to short when I hit a bump. Now the washer bottle has worn through because it is only supported on two sides at one end, not three sides like LR had and the opposite end sits on the bar and has abraded through I spoke to the TJM engineer about the exposed cable and he was not interested So along with the STT's rubbing on the bar, they could not have got it more wrong.2013 D4, E-diff, Vision pack

Now that you have cut the TJM bar to clear the tyres your inner plastic guards have nothing to rest on such as a fold that may have been on the part you had to cut off. Maybe you need to fix the plastic inner guards otherwise they may be caught up on the STT's when off-roading.
I have the ARB bar as well and I'm glad I never considered the TJM one. It's obvious they have no customer service.

The plastic inner guards were not affected as they are screwed down, the only bit I cut off was the edge in the picture. I just bought a new washer bottle from LR at $98 and I screwed a piece of flat steel to the bracket at the other end of the bottle which keeps it about 1.5cm above the bottom of the bull bar so hopefully it wont fail again. The LR parts guy said they sell quite a few of the bottles as they tend to split on the moulded seams garry2013 D4, E-diff, Vision pack

The washer bottle is close and can rub on the ARB one as well I put a bit of epoxy putty between the bar and the bottle.
ARB forgot to put the relays in for the indicators but ordered in and fitted them without fuss.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
