had my first mot yesterday...parts of the paperwork included an a4 sheet with readings from the suspension..toe in camber etc...figures on one wheel are different from another...how much difference side to side is normal....or within spec

They usually have the tolerance on the printout.

Workshop manual should specify all details.
There was a link somewhere here to it and that should give all answers.
For alignment, there's need to have full tank or equivalent weight balanced L/R and put car into tight mode (IID or something else required).
