I was only wondering what her parents would think - and here’s the answer!
I think the majority of the country would like to see her severely punished by the courts and wouldn’t it be nice if she really did become unemployable and not able to claim any jobless benefits.

"A young woman has been arrested two days after pouring human faeces and urine over a Captain Tom statue in a South Derbyshire village. Maddie Budd, a 21-year-old Welsh woman, travelled to Hatton to perform her unconventional dirty protest on Friday, September 30.
Miss Budd was arrested in central London earlier this afternoon, Sunday, October 2. It is believed that she been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. Miss Budd is now in custody."
I feel sorry for her family & friends.

Given they've 'changed the law' to give clarity about 'rights' on damaging statues, etc. after the Rhodes debacle where the criminal protesters got 'let off' then hopefully they'll be no getting away with this one, albeit she will obviously see herself as a martyr to a cause
Bit like the two people that pulled the 'heckler' back hurling verbal abuse (at Prince Andrew?) at the queens funeral profession have now been arrested and charged with physical assault (and I don't know whether force was reasonable or otherwise), you just feel that sometimes the 'wrong' people get the worst treatment.....
