Tonga green
Hi
Has anyone had this problem the paint code on my 2004/5 D3 has the figure LRC904 TONGA GREEN so I bought can and lacquer and behold it is the wrong green!
It is TONGA GREEN BUT 904 HFY without knowing the HFY IS THE METALLIC tonga green,and as seen clearly from the land rover plate it has clearly been marked incorrectly, no the car has not been resprayed or any other unknown changes as the car has a complete history.
So the area on the bonnet i repaired is in need of doing again,yes I did notice it wasn't quite right but I thought with buffering and several top coats of lacquer it would change its appearance, but no.
So the question has anybody got any tonga green metallic spray paint they wish to part with or any suggestions where best to get some.
