Tool shop

Hi all

Would anyone have a recommendation for a good automotive tool shop in the London area?

My son has got himself a summer job as a mechanics mate and they’d like him to build up a set of his own tools. It’s years since I was in the same position and buying sockets, wrenches, breaker bar, pullers etc. We’ll be going to the Enfield Pageant of motoring next weekend and may be able to pick up some deals / second hand stuff there. Any intel on any shops would be helpful, either in north or south London or surrounding counties.

Kind regards, Peter.

You can't beat the Halfords professional range with their lifetime guarantee. Also as he is in the trade he can get a trade card for an extra discount.

It will get him by until he is seduced by the Snap-on wagon

Or earned enough to buy a socket from Snap-on

One at time that is, he needs to be running a workshop to afford a complete set.

I bought 5 trays of the Halfords Pro sets and the manager set up a trade card to qualify for a discount.

For some reason I still can’t dump the mish-mash of tools they were supposed to replace Whistle
A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.
