I think Ive done the right thing, Ive just taken out a years policy with Warranty Direct as Im sure I spend more per year than its costing me for the policy.
I managed to get pretty much everything covered for £720 paid in four interest free installments
Now hopefully I can sleep at night

Doesn't seem a bad price for peace of mind to me. I'm paying the same when my policy starts in November but on a rolling monthly contract, so £60 a month.
What level of cover did you get? Do you have to pay betterment on any claim?

MY09 40k £589yr for luxury care, I got a deal for a 2yr policy so saved about another 10% on that 
Airbag light has just come on, rang WD this morning, claim set up, car booked in for Tuesday at main dealer so peace of mind it will be sorted
If I didn't have this I dread to guess what it would cost for all that exploratory work, searching on here it looks like it could be anything from wires under seats to a clock spring so £250 plus plus at main dealer rates of £138 hr !!
