African Spring
Nice "spring" we are having down here in the Western Cape of South Africa!
We hardly ever get snow in winter, but here we are in the snow in late September!!

Hi Andrew,
What impressive photos. I have been to Cape Town many times and travel there every few months or so on business. I love the country and its beauty. Have been there in September, never seen snow though!
Bit different to Umthata where I go again in November. Long drive from Durban, but the scenery is fantastic.
Would love to do the journey in a Discovery rather than a hire car though!2 x D3's (Twins)

My wife and I have just booked our holiday for next year. We'll be out for 2 weeks over Easter in Cape Town. Looking forward to it.
What will the weather be like at this time of year?
Cheers
John

You chose the best time of year! In summer we typically have strong SE winds here, but they die down around April. It is still sunny and warm in Autumn and there's much less wind!
