Fuel Tank Replacement x 2

I just received a letter from Land Rover NA (USA) yesterday stating that the replacement gas tank put in to address the problem of the internal pipe breaking off inside was only an "interim" tank and now I will need to bring it in to have another replacement tank fitted.......anyone have further information on this?? (petrol not diesel) Crying or Very sad

I also received that same letter this week. I don't have any other details. I haven't talked to the dealer service dept yet. I'll probably schedule something for the next week or so. I have to get the squealing brakes fixed, along with the center sunshade that won't stay closed.

noreserve - I had the same issue with my shade.....in my case it was an easy fix....one side of the shade had fallen off its track and so wasn't making proper contact with the latch.....if that is the case with yours, simply putting one end at an angel will allow your to put the other end back in it;s track...if the shade isn't pulled straight ahead or back it can get off track....hope this helps
