I had a puncture on Monday and found that the tyre needed to be replaced, however I noticed that the tyre was badly worn so I contacted my dealer. They booked the car in to check the geometry again this Wednesday and found that this was ok, however as the car had a geometry problem that was sorted out at 5k miles they contacted Land rover for me about the damage to the two front tyres. Just had a phone call from them to say that they have ordered me two new tyres and will fit them Friday afternoon - no cost to me at all .

I had an issue with my previous dealer when they said I would have to wait for half an hour before they could even look at my D3, but couldn't promise if they could, never mind sorting it!!
[bear in mind I spent 42k with them].
Anyway, was in Chesterfield later that day .. went to Gordon Lamb and they were fantastic. Service manager looked at the vehicle straight away, couldn't diagnose the problem and promptly whipped it straight into the workshop. They sat me down and plied me with coffee whilst i waited.
Excellent service and I didn't even buy it from them.
Needless to say I moved from my existing dealer, who I will not mention [Armstrong Massey, York ...oops that must've slipped out].
Now with Ripon Landrover, and happy so far.
Gordon Lamb, Chesterfield ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
