Locking problem!

Evening all. I am new here and just got myself a 54 plate disco. I have just been sat out learning everything it does (so many buttons!) I have locked the vehicle but none of the doors are locking. The alarm goes off but all doors can be opened. Am I doing something wrong or is there a fault? I'm used to a knackered old Renault kangoo 😂

Any help appreciated

Sounds like a miss lock alarm. Go around and slam shut every door, rear tailgate and bonnet then try again.

Well that's probably a lock actuator problem, its a replacement job.

Sit in the car and see if vehicle locks from the button on the dash. Locks should click in. If the drivers door locks this way the door lock should be okay. If not then as Dillion says.

All working now thanks. Few wiggles inside and pulled exterior handle and back to working. I'll keep checking it when I lock though! Now on to the next issue!
