Fuel Filter problem?

58 plate Discovery with 52k on the clock.

Recently went into limp home mode, I think. Suspension dropped, lots of fault lights, sluggish, poor starting.

Local dealership are scratching their head. RAC originally suggested it might be a fuel filter problem, particularly as we had some work done of the fuel system recently.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

It's possible.... but could also be many other things. Think you will need to post some fault codes for more help.

Unfortunately the car is in with Pentland so don't know the codes. We originally had a 'water if fuel' warning which resulted in the filter being changed. 2 weeks later this happens. Other than that the car has been fine. Seems more than co-incidence.

Thanks again.

Apparently it needs a new high pressure fuel pump...

The failure would have caused the car to go into limp home mode.
