mechatronic sealing sleeve

gents,

has anyone who has changed the autobox sealing sleeve (electrical connector seal) any tips?? i have the seal, new sump and oil ready- i have read a mention of a horseshoe clip??

any pointers greatfully received!

Scotland 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Cairns BlueDiscovery 3

Need to remove the sump, and unplug the electrical connector. With the sump off, directly underneath the sleeve, therebis a clip that needs to be pulled down, to release the sleeve.

With that done, it slides out. When refitting, it will only go in one way Thumbs Up

thanks DM, that makes sense having seen a picture ull the clip down, releases the sleeve and assembly is the reverse!
