Hi guys,
Literally just bought my Disco 3 when this morning I got the 'Engine Fault' message come up on the dash. It had it's cambelt replaced along with a service on Tuesday. Without taking it into a dealer and having it scanned, is there anyway I can tell what's bringing this message up?
Cheers,
Chris

No way of knowing without a fault code reader...if it is still running OK drive it back to where you got it from
could be anything from a simple EGR valve to something more serious Cheers Ian

Not really possible to tell. There are too MANY possibilities.
Sticking turbo, EGR, HPFP, MAF sensor, In tank fuel pump, fuel filter, turbo hose, cracked intercooler, blablabla.... loads of things can cause an ESF.
Fault codes can narrow it down drastically. Dennis

I'm hopefully going to get it scanned monday by the garage I bought it from. I've got 3 months warranty, lets hope whatever wants to go wrong, does so in those 3 months
