Tailgate (can you sit on it)??

Folks

One of the nice things about my D2 is the large rear bumper, you can sit on it and change your walking boots in comfort.

I looked at a D3 I took out for a test drive the other day and I wasnt sure if the fold down tailgate is strong enough for a family to sit on?

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Designed for 2BB - 2 Big Blokes, so yes is the answer - but depends on the size of your family and the size of your family if that makes sense

absolutely

Many members here are 'substantial' and despite the looks of the cables, i've never heard of them breaking. Good for sitting and standing on!

As I said at the time, that shouldn't happen to a D3!
