Order placed - D4 HSE SDV6
After years of planning and lots, but lots, of hard work , my order has, at last, been placed and deposit transfered to LR!
Now anxiously waiting for a Corris grey D4 HSE SDV6 with 'Discovery' on the bonnet , plus most of the goodies thanks to weight restrictions lifting.
Still waiting for factory building slot and final price, as it's a tax free buy. I just hope that the car gets in time and before the new member of the family we expect in start of 2014. Fingers crossed!
A big thank you to all of you guys who helped me solve some technical queries and also decide on the colour choice!
A big thanks also to Paul at Marshall's - Peterborough and Adrian at Land Rover who did their best to help me out and went through all the difficulties due to the MY14 model change.
Of course, I'll never forget my dearest friend Carl's invaluable help, without which all of this would have been so much more difficult. A friendship that started in the freel2.com, let's not forget, a good 7-8 years ago! Thanks chap!

You will absolutely love it... Still raving about mine 17000 miles and six months later... It's been faultless... Perfect family car in every way...

BTW, I remember some member posts complaining about wind noise when long roof rails are fitted (which is part of the black pack). Anyone aware of such an issue?

I have the extended roof rails, and have never noticed them being intrusive.......I did try the roof bars with them, and thought they were loud tbh,and more of an issue,so didn't bother "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I notice you have privacy glass, but not on the rear doors. Was this a retrofit?

@ Brian_dl13 - who me? If so then the rear door windows are tinted, you just can't see it from that angle. It is part of the black pack so oem, built into the glass.d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack
